As Chief Investment Officer, David Rose is responsible for the creation, management and execution of CA Student Living’s investment strategies, providing strategic oversight through sourcing, evaluating, structuring and closing property acquisition and development projects. David serves as portfolio manager for the firm’s open-end fund offering and more broadly partners closely with the CASL leadership team, to best position the platform’s capabilities with existing and prospective investors and their advisors. 

Prior to joining the firm, David served as a principal at Chicago-based private equity real estate firm, Walton Street Capital, collaborating on the launch of its core plus equity strategy and driving the expansion of the investor roster within the firm’s debt platform. 

David earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, from The Ohio State University Max M. Fisher College of Business.
