CA’s medical office and life sciences division focuses on maximizing investor return by acquiring and developing outpatient medical properties, healthcare laboratory and research facilities across the United States. As senior vice president, Jesse Ostrow is responsible for shaping and implementing CA’s medical office investment activities, including managing acquisition, financing and sale transactions.
Prior to joining CA, Jesse was chief investment officer at MedProperties Group, a medical real estate investment, development, and operating platform. He led the firm’s property acquisition process, and managed transactions including sourcing capital, closing debt, and executing sales and recapitalizations. Jesse’s career in real estate private equity, investment banking, and consulting has provided him with experience across property sectors and geographic markets. He founded a boutique real estate investment consulting firm where he served as a managing principal and previously was a principal at Equibase Capital Group, a provider of mezzanine debt, preferred equity, and joint venture equity to real estate sponsors. He also worked in the investment structuring group at Security Capital Research & Management (now a subsidiary of J.P. Morgan Asset Management), where he analyzed real estate securities investments for the firm’s private institutional fund. Jesse began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Real Estate Group at A.G. Edwards & Sons.
Jesse earned a BBA with High Distinction from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
