As Chief Financial Officer, Robert Beesley focuses on driving the long-term strategic plan for our residential and design build sectors, identifying opportunities for improvement to enhance investor returns, and delivering best-in-class financial reporting. Robert also focuses on structuring of acquisitions, dispositions and the accounting and tax accounting for the investments.
Prior to joining CA in 2017, Robert spent 13 years in public accounting at Deloitte Tax, LLP working on real estate clients’ transactions that included but not limited to IPOs, acquisitions, dispositions, and tax compliance. Robert also spent two years at a publicly traded REIT assisting with its IPO process and tax and legal entity restructuring. Robert joined CA as the VP of Tax and was promoted to CFO – International during 2018 and took over CFO responsibilities for our residential and design build sectors during 2021.
Robert has been a licensed member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since September 2002.
In May 2001, Robert received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana and in May 2022, Robert received his Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana.
