CA Ventures (“CA”), the vertically integrated real estate investment management company, today announced it has hired Sarah Quinn as operations director of Novel Student, CA’s in-house PBSA management platform. In her new role, Quinn will oversee the operational excellence and financial performance of CA’s properties in lease-up and operations. She will also manage CA’s regional managers across Europe and other members of its operations team, including the growing team of leasing and operating staff onsite.

As operations director, Sarah will play a critical role in ensuring a seamless launch of our future Novel Student deliveries to provide enhanced student experiences around the world.”
In September 2019, CA announced a trio of projects in Sheffield, England and the Scottish cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh to comprise Novel’s initial portfolio. Totaling nearly 900 beds, all three state-of-the-art properties remain on track to deliver this fall despite the many challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the inception of its European business, CA has commenced development on nearly $500 million of student housing in the UK and Ireland, with additional projects scheduled to deliver in 2022 and 2023 across the U.K., Ireland, Spain and Italy.

Prior to joining CA, served as head of operations for Moda Living, where she oversaw the set up and running of the operational platform of one of the UK’s largest branded built-to-rent portfolios. Quinn has also extensive experience in UK PBSA having worked with leading UK providers Unite, iQ, and Fortis Developments, where she established the lettings and management arm, which incorporated both a UK-wide student and residential portfolio. This unique combination of both UK residential and PBSA experience will add depth to the growing CA Europe property management team.
